its me againg im afraid

am planning to stay in current job as discussed in previous thread, as long as signed off at end of probation in march so my question is thus...

As i have been on probation from when i started in july for at least four months and that was extended to march, will that take away from me earning my SMP if you get me...

What i mean is will the fact that ive been on probation mean i need to accrue time from the point im signed off or will it all count from the day i started?

hope someone can help TIA x

hiya, sorry, not been around today. Probation makes no difference to SMP, it's purely about when you were employed, as long as you've been employed for 26 weeks by the time you're 25 weeks pg you'll be fine.
