I recently changed careers within the NHS. Now i am in a non clinical job that involves some project management and data analysis. Eventually i will get some training paid for by my employer, but in the mean time i was wondering if anyone can recommend free online training? I am thinking basics of excel, project management introduction, data in healthcare... I know Linkedin and a few other websites have free training when paying a monthly subscription fee. However, I dont want to pay to find out that the course is not good.

I managed a few big work projects before having any formal project management training, so don't worry too much about getting stuck in as long as you use your brain and commonsense.

Communication over deadlines and who's doing what are the most important aspects as well as making sure you get input from everyone involved so that nothings's overlooked (in my experience).

Have you looked on Coursera. It says subscription and unless you want the certificate most courses are free.
