How long to hear from new job?

My start date is 19/12, that much I know. However I haven’t actually heard anything from them at all in terms of what hours I will be working (they said at interview it will vary, I’m flexible so fine with that), haven’t heard about any specifics etc, is it uniform or not, any training at all.

Is this very odd or should I just sit tight and wait to hear more details? It’s NHS if any help, office based.

I would say usually a week before - have you signed your contract yet?

If you haven’t heard by the 12th - then get in contact with your new line manager or the recruiter.

Wee update today - yes have signed contract and done all on boarding. Not heard anything yet but plan to email by Wednesday if haven’t heard anything, does this sound reasonable?
