How will extra annual leave for NJC staff affect other council employees?

I work in council but I am not employed on NJC terms and conditions.

NJC staff will be getting an extra day of annual leave from April 2023. I’m wondering how this will affect non-NJC staff as up until this point, everyone in the council gets the same annual leave. The number of days is according to your pay band.

Does anyone know?

It's up to your council. They can have common terms or not. Councils generally have to offer the minimum agreed terms (It's a bit more complicated than that, but it's generally true). But they can offer more if they like.
