Hating my new job

I hate my new admin office job. I've been there 10 weeks and I hate it for these reasons.

The staff spend everyday making nasty comments to and about eachother - the boss knows about the bullying there but little seems to be done about it. There's been doors slammed arguments shouting at each other and people walking out.

I've received no training I was told to just figure it out but when I make mistakes this usually results in passive aggressive emails being circulated amongst the team. It's extremely difficult without the correct training.

I'm very bored. I get work set then someone else in the team completes it.

I've found out someone was hired to do this job before me, but quit after 4 months due to lack of training, and probably the awful atmosphere.

I hate it. I cry before I go to work. I need to find another job ASAP.

Help?????

Sorry but you've answered your own question. You need to get another job. Assuming you need the wage, you simply have to develop a thick skin until you can leave, because they clearly aren't going to change anything.

This was me same time last year. I saw it out for nearly a year because it felt like I 'should'. I was utterly miserable and it's only now I'm out of the environment I realise how much it had affected me.

My advice, bite the bullet and give it up- life's too short!

I hear you @Oakly !
I've been in my new job for less than half the time you have and I've already registered with some recruitment agencies/started buying more lottery tickets in the hope that I need never work again.

You already know what you need to do, find a new job.

Work plays a huge part in our lives. Crying every morning before work is no way to live.

Get yourself out of there, it is a toxic environment. Surprised you stayed 10 weeks to be fair.
Plenty of jobs on indeed
