It's been a week since the interview?!?

So long story short I had an interview last week. Seemed to go well ( my friend referred me) I was genuinely thinking the job was pretty much in the bag as the interview was v informal. ( I know this makes me sound like a dick but hopefully you know what I mean) was told that I hear by the end of last week and here we are at pretty much the end of Monday and nothing 🤣🤣🤣 I'm not overly stressed as I have 3 young kids at home and my BF works away quite a bit so maybe it's not ment to be at the moment

I'm not mentioning to my friend as I don't want her to feel like I'm hounding her. It mustn't be meant to be.

Same for me with an internal interview last Monday. Going to chase tomorrow!

Not too bothered actually and that's why I'm not chasing I'm worried that I'd regret it but I'd still give it thought if I was actually offered.

I'm recruiting lots at the moment. Sometimes I've made a decision but it takes a while for hr or another senior stakeholder to approve the role or salary. Sometimes I just get distracted by another priority for a few days. I would consider it a good sign if a candidate contacted me to say 'I'm keen to join the team but its bit a bit of a while since we spoke, do you need any further information etc etc'

I don’t think a quick text would be hounding her. Just something like “thanks for recommending me for the job, thought the interview went great and hope to hear back from then soon.”
