Im currently a manager in 5/7 day role, where my colleagues and I work 2 weekends in 6. Its pretty decent to be fair as most of my previous roles had me working every 2nd weekend.
We had a Re-structure this year and a lot has changed and im wondering if anyone (particularily HR) has had experience with this.
We manage the rota and our senior management team have said that if staff want a weekend off, they need to swap with another member of staff. In theory, this seems fine but the more I think about it, it seems unfair. So if that staff member or myself cant get a swap, we cant get the weekend off. Surely Management would have to find cover and we can use Annual leave as we would with any other days?
