Keeping things deliberately vague, sorry. I heard rumours about a colleague committing fraud in their personal finances. This colleague has access to work accounts. Would you mention anything to employer?

Many things to consider here, but firstly how solid is the info (gossip?) that you've come across? Who/what is their relationship to the colleague? And, also, why would you assume it would mean they were doing the same with the work accounts? Personally, I'd think it unlikely, but, tbh, I'd not say anything and would mind my own business, as it were.
