I'm leaving a full time job (in which I'm underemployed) to commence full time study. It's a fairly short course (4 months) and should improve my earning potential afterwards, but it would really help if I could find something that I could do just for a few hours a week to bring in a little income whilst studying.
The studying is going to be pretty demanding and intensive and is full time in weekday working hours, so realistically I won't be able to make a big commitment to any other work during this time. I also have caring responsibilities (two school age children). But working a few hours a week at evenings and/or weekends should be manageable and would help with our family finances. Ideally wfh so I can maximise my useful time and don't have to factor in commuting.
I'm wondering about admin, customer service, data entry type roles - has anyone got experience of anything like this that they could recommend? There are companies who advertise this kind of thing but it's hard to tell what's genuine and what's just a bit of a scam. Or does anyone have other ideas about what I can look for? I have general admin, content design, content writing and picture research/publishing experience.
