I'm trying to do some calculations for next year (houses to buy we'll just a house etc.).

Has anyone worked out, on a good day, what their hourly line rate is?

@deflatedbirthday when i used to have good days it was around £16ph, but I can honestly say I cannot remember the last good day……certainly not this year I don’t think. To be honest, I think now it is well below what is classed as minimum wage 😔

@deflatedbirthday i should have said, those figures are only when there is work available, there have been many a time where it has been £0ph due to no work

I'm trying to work out how many lines I need to type to make it worthwhile. I'm not sure what my average line per hour is. I've never really timed myself.

@deflatedbirthday oh I see what you mean. I haven’t worked that out, but thinking £16ph would be around 200 lines, although don’t quote me on that…….

That's roughly what I'd worked out but I'm atrocious at maths! Thank you!!

Just a quick question to anyone who works for Tpro. Can you see any tasks? Mine's been zero for some time now which is really unusual as there were about 1200+ tasks the other week and always seem busy whatever time of year

@carosel2 - when I looked at tpro earlier today (to see if my tasks in QC had been cleared) there were 3 tasks only, there were very few tasks last week ( ie about 40 at one point) with virtually 0 added - I think all clinics must have been cancelled - and a lot of typing seemed to have been done overnight by people.

@carosel2 it’s because there are very few clinics in between Xmas and NY. I’m one if those who has been working and on NYE when I stopped there were only 59, 275 when I started in the morning. I got an email saying there are abt 500 pending today but I suspect they need to be loaded in by someone this end and due to BH this hasn’t happened as they were only 4 tasks this morning in pending. It will be back to normal in a few days.

@Gally123 @nomadchild - thanks. Sometimes I just panic thinking the worst!

I really can't get into this job today, it's so painfully boring and disheartening when you see the hours you've had to put in for the pittence, but I have no choice just now.

@Whitestar55 days like that are horrible 😥

@Whitestar55 - I agree but perhaps consider T-pro, at least you'll have an option even if they give you the lower rate at least you've got something to fall back on. At least they are more personable and its up you you whether you want to use them. I have never been told I have to do so much per month by my team lead, ive just been told whatever I do is better than nothing. We are self employed at the end of the day so surely they cant demand time or tasks to be typed? Good luck.
