Hello lovely ladies,
I’ve made the decision to do something for myself after 2 years of being at home having babies!
I have a 3 year old and an 18 month old, and of course some extra money would be great, but more so I just wanted to do something for myself and something I’m really passionate about.
so I started a baby sensory group (like a pay as you go toddler group, but aimed at 0-18 months old) and I really am very excited to start running it next month!
but I was just wondering if anyone knew how I could advertise it (already don’t Facebook and instagram) that won’t cost a lot of money?
or if anyone on here is looking for a baby group in the Essex area you can always message me 🥰

I’ve just realised it wasn’t too clear on what I was struggling with!
it really is just about how to advertise and get people to come. I have 7 years experience working with babies and setting up educational play and activities for them so that part I find easy ☺️

Hi Sparkly, what a great idea, well done! I don't know much about advertising, have you asked local family centres and libraries to put up an advert? Also, there are some local free parenting magazines distributed in primary schools, my kids used to come home with them in their book bags, Primary Times I think, I don't know how much they charge to advertise though.

Where is your local baby weighing clinic? Can you put up a poster there?

Also local children's centre (if it's not the same place!)

Are there local breastfeeding support groups that might share your details with their members?

Have you properly researched if there is a market for this in your location?
Its not just about what you want to do, it’s about what people want as well

Myself and my friend do similiar but from 0 to 4 years.
It was advertised on local FB pages. We also printed out poster type things, laminated them and popped them up around the village and on notice boards that the village has.
Once it started running, word of mouth gets out up the schools about the group, and surrounding villages.
We also gave people the choice of what day we were to do it - luckily the majority was for one day.. that way we knew there was more interest for it on that people more people were available. Good luck!!! X
