How do you help ease the juggle?

I have been in my job for nearly 12 years.

I have two babies, just over 2 and just over 1. I came back to work pregnant after the 1st, it wasn't planned but is what it is.

I came back to work in June.

My children have another sickness so I have to go and pick them up (partners job doesn't always allow so it usually falls to me).

I rang my manager to tell her and she seemed quite annoyed.

The youngest was sick a few weeks ago, I've used a bit of annual leave recently but I feel she's getting fed up.

We have no family nearby so I don't have any other choice.

Could they sack me? I'm always on call and can deal with emergencies remotely etc - it's not the end of the world.

How do you cope with this? Looking for advice

Badly. I cope with it badly! 😆I struggle with the same perception as you.

DH and I split the responsibility between us when there are sick days and I can WFH so I don't need to take time off to look after the DC unless they're really, really ill.

Whether or not you could be fired depends on your contract & employment length.
