NHS Admin Recruitment Event

I've applied to attend an NHS recruitment event in a couple of weeks and have received an email back inviting me for an "interview".

Given that I've only filled out the form to attend, rather than applying for a specific job, does anyone have any experience of a similar event and the format it would take?

I'm anticipating something more along the lines of an informal chat than an actual interview, but don't want to be unprepared!

Thanks🙂

I went to one in a hotel, it included a basic functional maths and English test. Then an interview with the team for that department. Interview for me was easy because I was asked to apply by the matron at a previous interview that I didn't get offered the job at. They over rode everything, but lots of other people didn't do well at the interview.

Go prepared for an interview Ie 6 questions and a maths and English test.

Thanks @toor, that's really helpful and good to have a heads up re the maths and English test.

No worries! Good luck

Make sure you have read up on confidentiality, information governance and look up the Trust values with examples of how you would work within them

Thank you @Wowzel

Can I ask, if you're working in an NHS admin role, how you find it?

I'm a matron rather than admin :)
