Commute - too long?

Hi everyone, I've been offered a new job.... It's an hour drive away but I won't have to be in the office everyday. Most likely two days a week. So 4 hours commuting a week but obviously concentrated heavily into two days. Most other things about the job I'm really happy with, but does this sound like an ok commute to most people? Too much?
Be interested to hear people's thoughts.

That's a very standard commute. Especially for 2 days a week.

That's a pretty easy commute if it's only 2 days a week

@AquaticSewingMachine thank you...I thought it seemed ok, but have no comparator as I used to have it super easy at my last job.

Is it an hour door to door when everything goes well? What about traffic delays etc?

So an hour each way? My daughter does that daily for school.

@SwedishEdith yep an hour door to door. Allows for a few hold-ups but not major traffic

I guess it's up to you, doesn't matter what others think

Is the working at home time guaranteed? I think an hour each way drive without traffic is a fairly sizeable commute. Is there a train? An hour on public transport isn’t so bad as you can work or read. How many miles is it? Presuming 40/50 Also consider the cost, especially if they can ask you j to the office when they want

This! And it varies from person to person. Dh does an hours commute each way daily - on top of a 12 hour day, 5 days a week. He thinks it’s fab! Personally I find anything over 30 mins too far.
