Hybrid - told to go from 3 to 4 days in office

Just like that. No consultation. Job description clearly states hybrid working, and the condition I accepted the role.

4 days in the office doesn’t strike me as hybrid working now. I’m doing exactly the same task in the office as I would be at home.

No issues raised in one-to-one 48 hours ago or warning. Seems to be a whim without substance. Is hybrid supposed to be this flexible?

Omg you’re just not reading it! Once more for luck.

THEY CAN SIMPLY TERMINATE YOUR PRECIOUS CONTRACT FOR NO REASON. That’s not breaking it, you accept the ‘new contract’ or you leave.

No one as suggested to you that they can break the contract, but in the first two years it almost amounts to the same thing IF the business is prepared to lose you over it.

(it’s actually not that hard after 2 years in truth just more hoops to jump through)

And the update - we are now an office based team five days a week. No working from home.
