Any part-time fixed contract teachers out there?

I am on a part time fixed term contract with a school and used to cover lessons of people who are absent. I work 1 day a week and am paid 0.18 of my salary (instead of 0.2) Is this right? Anyone else in similar situation? Got to speak to Head about it.......

No don't think so. I work two full days and am paid 0.4. But I do have my own classes and 1 free period included in that. I do not know why you would only be 0.18 - unless you are not used for covering registration and that has been deducted? I'd see the head though if I were you!

I work 5 mornings 8.30 - 12.30 and am paid 0.5, based on a full day being 8.30am - 4.30pm, maybe it's something to do with the contractual hours, are you supposed to finish at 3.30pm?

that's the reason thing i can think of for not getting 0.2.

Between ds1 and ds2 I worked 1 day per week but my nice head sorted it out so that i worked as a supply teacher, so i got more money!!

was supposed to say that's the only reason!
