Low scores but got the roles

Been in C S for around 2 years. Over this year applied for G 7 and G 6 roles and got them. Only just found out you can view your scores, so I had a look. I scored 4s and 5s for behaviours.

I thought I gave good answers and I am now doubting my ability to perform well in an interview. I must have prepped for 15 hours too. I'm worried if I apply for another role I won't score very high.

I interview people so know how good answers work etc.

Also thinking if I got the role because there are few women in the sector.

Those are reasonable scores. 4 is the benchmark. Behaviours are marked out of 7.

In all my years of interviewing in the CS I've never given a 7, that would be a truly exceptional answer. I have given 6's but they are reserved for excellent answers. 4's and 5's are good scores that mean you answered well. Surely you would have taken a similar approach when interviewing others?

If you are a grade 6 your next promotion would be to SCS where the recruitment process is different.

How different is SCS?

I guess those who get the roles I interview for are more consistent 5s with 6s. Mine was more consistent 4s, including my presentation.
