Don’t know what hours to propose at work

I’m going back to work full time. My partner is going part time due to flexibility with his shifts and can pick up overtime to make up loss of earnings.

I have flexible working so there’s no strict time i start or finish work unless there’s a meeting etc I have to attend. Little one will be in nursery two days a week, my partner will be looking after her the other three.

I work a 37 hour week
option 1 - 7.4 hours a day and ask to start at 7 so I’m finished by 3 with a lunch break
option 2 - work a 9 day fortnight so I one extra day off in the week a fortnight and work an extra 45mins a day
option 3 - compress my hours so I do a 4 day week which I like the idea of but wondering if I’ll be exhausted

what do you think?

I like option 3 longer hours over 4 days and 1 full day off. I think I would get more done having a full day off than earlier finishes

I think I would go for Option 3. If you went for this option, what would you be doing on the day off, is the plan that you would reduce the days in nursery or your partner work an additional day, if so it seems to make sense financially too.

Partner could potentially work the extra day which would make his drop to part time more manageable and not reliant on overtime maybe…
