Job application - resend or not?

A local company has been recruiting for an administrator. I send my CV in a couple of weeks ago, heard nothing, and when I looked this morning the job had been removed from their site. I checked just now and it's been re-posted. Do I re-apply, chase my application, or wait? I didn't get any reply to original application. My feeling is that I resubmit. Job decription hasn't changed.

Email them and ask if your cv is still being considered or whether they are only seeking new applications

That's in line with what I was thinking. I reckon the timing was that they already had someone in mind when I applied but for some reason it didn't work, hence the re-posting.
