QUICK POLL what would you wear for an interview for a graduate-teacher interview at uni? A full suit or a shirt and tie? (for a man)

Dh doesn't like wearing a full suit he feels far more comfortable in a shirt and tie. he would like to know from you oh wise Mnetters what you think he should wear....

The interview is at a university for a place on their gtp course, he has already secured a place at a school who will employ him, but uni places are really hard to get on.

(it might be worth pointing out that he is very handsome)

A) a suit

B) a more casual shirt and tie

C) just a smart shirt

D) his loincloth and a cheeky smile

Suit. No one ever thinks 'goodness, don't think much of a candidate who turns up all over-dressed in a suit'. Ever.

Some people do think 'he could have made an effort and wore a suit'.

Suit is always the safe choice.

Definitely suit. Always go slightly more dressed up than you think if in any doubt.

is suit and no tie an option - if suit and tie feels too formal? some colours effect how formal a suit is too - dark suits with white shirt being the most formal. so if he has a choice a lighter suit is a bit less formal.
