Which job would you choose?

So, I currently have a job that I really enjoy. I've been there 6 years and have no issues with any part of the job. Bar the money. It's not very well paid and there's no real way to progress unless I want to be available between 7am and 11pm 7 days a week (which I absolutely do not with young children!)
My shifts at the moment fit in with school hours and I'm perfectly happy bar the wages, which are set across the company and can't be changed.

I've been offered another job, which is mainly admin and mostly working from home. It's only £2000 more a year, so after tax/student loan etc I'd be maybe £140 a month better off.
I'm not sure I'd enjoy the job massively as I love to be around people, but there are progression opportunities as it's local government.

3rd option is that another business similar to the one I am in is opening. Basic wages are similar to what I'm on now, again maybe £2000 more a year. They're flexible on hours and no weekend work. However this job pays commission, so could end up on more money than I'm on now, but there are targets to hit. At the moment I have targets to hit, but don't get commission. I am pretty good at what I do, and hit my targets most months.

I just can't decide whether to stick with what I know, take a totally different job I might not enjoy, or to take a role with commission, but I could end up unhappy as I might prefer my job now!

What would other people do?

Apologies for the highly boring post! I'm just sick of mulling it over in my own head!

Really diffiuclt to say. I prioritise security as much as possible, then my happiness, so on that basis I would choose option 2.

My personal opinion is that WFH is a disaster for MH, even in many cases for those who think they like it. For someone who likes being around people, I don't think the extra money is worth making yourself miserable and isolated.

I definitely wouldn't take a commission based job in a start up.

Stay where you are and keep looking.

I would stay in current job....its sounds great!

If you know you prefer to be around people, don't take a WFH job!

Fwiw I don't think WFH is a disaster for MH. Lots of people prefer it and for years had to suck up going to the office.

But if you know it's not for you then cross that one off straight away

I think I'd stay in your current job.

Option 3
no one wants a job they don’t enjoy ruling out 2 and money is needed right now, ruling out option 1

I think if you're in an ok position financially then stick with where you are unless a similar position came up on more money (I think £140 a month isn't worth the risk of not enjoying the job as much as your current one)

It's rare to have a job that fits in with school hours and you enjoy!

Yeah I'm thinking stay here, or position 3. I'm prone to mental health and anxiety issues and I worry that wfh and not having to interact could make them worse.
