Rude comments from boss

Hi guys.. first post on here looking for some input/opinions. I work in a very demanding role which can also be dangerous so had to tell my boss I was pregnant early on. Ever since then snide remarks have been made about my pregnancy including it being called a ‘predicament’. They have also made rude remarks about me being off sick for a few weeks basically told it was my fault I was sick as I would be the one to fall pregnant. Prior to me falling pregnant I felt very much included and valued in my role now I just can’t wait to be finished and don’t know if I even want to return.

That is shocking. I have never been.pregnant but find 'predicament' offensive.
Are you able to seek union advice?.stay strong and congratulations

@BCBird thanks for your reply. That is something I’m looking into doing if it continues. Said boss has a very dry sense of humour so think he feels he can get away with saying what he wants. For example- I said to him that I need to use the toilet a lot more during risk assessment…he said ‘you could borrow some incontinence pads from the stock room, might keep you in work a bit longer’ 🙈🙈

Blooming heck. I would feel.like walloping him. Wat a plonker. Thing is you will have your baby, your toilet needs will got back to.pre pregnancy requirements but he will still be a d*ck🤣

Wow, that’s appalling. Do you have an HR,? if so ask them to have a quiet chat with him.
