I've recently started a job and at the moment I'm being trained and it is awful. I'm being made to do all the jobs due to "needing to be trained" while the rest of the team sit back and let me do all the work.
Everyone else is allowed to work from home for a couple of days but I'm told I need to be there as I'm training. Being there includes being on phone duty constantly.
On top of this, whenever I do something wrong I am criticised in front of the whole room (6 members of staff).
Not sure if this is normal but it doesn't feel like it.
I have two young children and I'm deflated today. I have asked for a meeting with my manager but I am so disappointed in these people. I would never treat a human being like they have.
