I am recently qualified as mortgage advisor. i work in a bank and there are no jobs available at my workplace to apply at this moment in time.

I can see lots if jobs with other companies apart from bank. I have got a stable permanent job , would it be worth to start applying with other small companies with no experience in advice or shall i wait to for opportunities to come in the banks ?
Any advice would be welcome

Bear in mind that in the Bank people come to you to apply for a mortgage most of the time but I other companies you may be required to source clients yourself. If that is the case how comfortable are you with lead generation and selling?

Mortgage advisors are basically sales roles now, especially outside of established banks. Lots of cold calling, prospecting, selling insurance etc.
I would recommend staying with your bank for now, they will help you develop the other skills you need.
