Hi

I currently work in Admin, band 4 and do 24 hours. I would like more work and have joined the bank but not much work about.

Any ideas of what I could do?

Many thanks

Do you work for the NHS?

busybusy10 · 21/09/2022 20:31

Ask your boss about opportunity to increase your hours?

America12 · 21/09/2022 20:49

Are you in a hospital ? Ours always need AE receptionists and HCAs on the bank.

busybusy10 · 21/09/2022 20:53

Hi

Yes in a hospital. I think I need to do some training for HCA? But happy to do it. I will ask tomorrow.

Thank you.

Did ask about increasing hours but none available (even though extremely busy) 😕

Thank you

The hospital where I work are always needing HCAs and I know at least one ward clerk who also does this.

If you can do Sundays the pay is really good. About £22 a hour for a band 2.

busybusy10 · 21/09/2022 21:17

Hi thank you for that. Weekends are good for me so will def look into it.

Thank you

In my trust you can't just do a HCA job, you need some kind of care NVQ, although I think they are ridiculously underpaid - band 2 but that's another story!

A+E reception work as others said usually always crying out for bank workers.

Any other hospitals nearby you could apply for?
