Non payment of overtime

Hoping there is someone around who can advise.

I just had my payslip for this month and last months overtime is not included. I submitted my form on time and management confirmed this was forwarded to payroll.

It is around £900 short which I need to pay nursery. When they have previously messed up my pay they have said it will be paid next time, however in practise it has taken several months to receive it.

It's a large uk company with a centralised payroll department. How do I get this money now instead of being asked to wait potentially months for it?

Write to th chief exec or HR director

There's no hr. It's a series of regional operating companies under a 'group' company. There's a payroll manager I could maybe try if they do come back to me with that response tomorrow. At local level they probably won't think anything can be done about it.

Make your manager aware then contact payroll to find out why it happened. Then explain as it isn't your error you expect the missing money to be paid into your account as a same day (chaps) payment. They'll try to get out of it because it costs them money but be firm

Thanks that sounds like a plan

Update I have an amazing manager who got onto payroll straight away yesterday to sort it out, and arranged for payment to be made into my bank account today. What a star.
