Feel stuck!

I started a new full time job a few weeks ago and I don't like it. I feel so low about the job itself it isn't for me but we need the money. Also I'm missing the kids so much I hate being away from them. It makes it worse as I'm not enjoying the job.

I can request any flexible working hours until I've worked there for six months. Should I try look for something else or suck it up?

Any advice would be amazing feel so stuck right now!

I would get out whilst you can. I know my parents moaned at me for thinking to give up 'well paying' job. (one side of parents doesn't know about fixed term part) I had it pretty easy because my current employer/line manager has been cancelling monthly reviews which in turn makes the overall appraisal, so I did not have to tell them it was great or write threads about how guilty I felt about the amazing training afforded to me.

Sorry I tried to go against what I believed in to walk away and it bit me - I had my Managers agreement that the job wasn't right for me Monday morning - an hour and half later they were saying something different, only for the real greater need to cover people going of sick and those they want to give holiday too. Forget all the we support mental health posters in the toilet brigade type of company.

Be strong.

Do you think yoh would be happy working part time? I think if working away from the kids is fairly new to you it will take time to adjust and stop feeling as guilty
