Worried about going off work

I’m in my second trimester of pregnancy and have been struggling quite a bit with my mental health lately. I reached out to my midwife and she has referred me to a specialist mental health midwife and also advised that she thinks I should take some time off work, a lot of my anxiety and stress is rooted in work and working in a job which I really don’t enjoy. I keep getting panic attacks and throwing up at work, as well as migraines and feeling a really horrible panicky feeling of being trapped while I’m there.

I’m still in a probationary period at work as I only started in the last 6 months. I had to take some time off in my first trimester due to really bad morning sickness. My midwife said I should phone my GP and recommended that I should be signed off for a couple of weeks minimum, I was in floods of tears on the phone to her because I’m worried that taking this time off in my probation period will result in me losing my job, as much as I hate it, I need the money.

I’m also worried if I look for another job, no one will take me on with me being pregnant.

i’m really struggling and don’t know what to do, I spend most of my days at work feeling like I’m going to have a panic attack or burst into tears and I’m really struggling to hold it together.
