What would you do?

I have just been successful for promotion in work. I have the option to stay on my current team or to move to a completely new department, totally different work etc.

I don't know what to do. I am currently in a team of 4 and am mainly happy but some of the reasons I want to move teams are:
-Girl I work with is useless. Turns up to work at 10, goes for a nap in the office and then asks to leave at 2 because she's really tired. She is very PC so you have to walk on eggshells around her. She has put in complaints about almost every member of staff. I sort of get on with her but I can see that she is very scheming and vindictive. Basically she is potentially dangerous.
-line manager is a perve. Has slapped my arse on numerous occasions. His wife saw messages on his phone to me (and several other women at work). He would send inappropriate stuff and I would bat him back and say "you'd be so lucky" etc. anyway, his wife had a massive go at me in the street, accusing me of messaging him all the time. I'd like to point out that he's in his 60's, chubby and not the silver fox type (I'm 32). He is no longer allowed to come in to work if I'm in the office..so he basically tries his hardest to work from home/book annual leave when I'm in.
-Everyone hates each other on the team and they all come to me to slag each other off. It's just getting so old now and I'm fed up of the constant drama.
-I'm not mega interested in my job but I know how to do it.

Reasons I would like to stay:
-I have a close relationship with senior manager on the team. He has opened up so many doors for me. He has really helped me to develop and pushed me (in a nice way) ti gain confidence to chair meetings, to speak in meetings. He gives me lots of advice and has offered to mentor me. I feel like if I stay then he can help me so much more.

Or would you leave and try a new role? It could be in any team. They try and match you to where they think you are best suited but the people matching don't actually know me. They can read about the work I have previously done but who knows where I could be placed.
Is it out of the frying pan in to the fire? There is always going to be someone that irritates you on every team?
Or is it a good opportunity to learn something new?

I would have to stay in either role for 18 months before I can apply for another role.

I'm so torn. The team I am in is toxic and this could be my opportunity to get out of the team. There are talks of line manager & sleepy girl moving on but this might not happen. If they did go then I would probably stay.

What would you do??

Get rid of sleepy girl. Talk to your mentor about her.

@Allthegoodnamesarechosen They have been trying to get rid of her for some time.

They are all afraid to pull her up on her behaviour because she uses the mental health card. She knows she can get out of absolutely any situation. She will go off sick for months when she starts to get questioned.

She has applied for a couple of jobs but hasn't got them.

Now that she's heard rumours that line manager is looking for work elsewhere, she is suddenly interested in staying on the team. She would ideally like to do his job so I don't think she will go now.

Remember why you applied for this different job
