TTC but might be changing to a job with rolling contract and 2am starts

I currently work 8am starts and sometimes a 2pm-10pm but applied for another position within the business with 2am starts maybe 3 times a week mixed with some 8-5pm or 10-8pm

Is there a chance this will affect im chances of conceiving? I'm sure I will be more tired and my sleep pattern will become erratic? I just really don't want to put myself in a position to make my body struggle when right now I need it to be happy

Anyone else do these type of shifts and not have issues? I'm 32 and will be my first time at 2am starts. I have done volunteer overnight shifts in the past but they were temporary

Thank you

I have never worked shifts so cant comment on the changes your body to go through but my thought was wether or not you and your partner are going to be seeing enough of each other to have regular sex and if you are both going to be in the mood for it at the same time. As far as I am aware the advice os to have sey 3-4 times per week all throughout the month rather than just during the fertile window and in my opinion that seems a bit of a stretch given the shift patterns. Unless your partner is also working shifts and you will have similar schedules.

It won't just be your sleep pattern but you may find your actual menstrual cycle gets a bit messed up. Especially if you have lots of variation in your sleep/wake and start times at work. I always found my period was slightly delayed around the time I swapped from nights to days and vice versa, and that was with a regular pattern of shifts.
