Quit my job - Now what?

Hey everyone,

I was just looking for some advice really,

I am 28F and i recently quit my office job due to bullying and it has been a huge weight off my shoulders. For context, i could do this as i live at home and hardly have any bills. Now, i have a degree but i really suffer with social anxiety due to my last job and i want to improve my skills.

Is it weird that i want a job like a host at a club or a bartender? I worked in a cafe and loved it, i know the money is crap like. And this is really fucking stupid, but a Hooters just opened in my city and i wish i could just work in a place similar, i think i am going through a quater life crisis. I am currently overweight (currently losing it) and not feeling the best about myself, i am all over the place?

Any advice or wise words??
Thank you

I'm sorry to hear you have been bullied, @Katiie1997 . It might do you a world of good just to go for a job you like the sound of and get your confidence back up, without worrying about whether it's what you want to do in the long term.

People I know who are job seeking at the moment are getting asked for interviews really quickly - I understand hospitality is particularly short-staffed so they'll likely bite your hand off if you don't have a notice period to work!

Just go for it, is my advice - any job will build experience and give transferrable skills, even if it's not in the field of your long-term ambition.

Best of luck!
