I am currently on mat leave from my self employed job as a cleaner and will also be going back to work in September. I've been approved for the 30 free hours for DD3, and apparently I will need to 'reconfirm' my situation in October, does anyone know what this involves? I most definitely should earn enough meet the £2000 in 3 months criteria but thats obviously going to be 3 months away, so I'm feeling a bit confused. How can I tell them what I've earned when I haven't earned it yet! 😳

Thanks for any help

Do they want you to estimate? I seem to remember that's what it is, and it's on you to ensure it's close to accurate.

You need to reconfirm every 3 months I think it is anyway.
It's just a case of making sure details are the same, or putting your earnings in should they change.
I would estimate if your not 100%

You tick a box to say your earnings still match the eligibility.
Being self employed you are allowed to average it out over the tax year in case some weeks you don’t earn as much
