Friend has got a new job. Current line manager has received a reference request. Line manager has said she will do reference once friend has completed all work. Surely she can’t do this as friend has up to leaving day to get all work completed? Friend is a social worker so work is ongoing. Line manager attitude and poorly run department is part of the reason friend is leaving.
