Interview Monday..

Hi All
I have an interview on Monday , its within the same company but for a different department. I have been asked if I would like a tour of one of the buildings which is next to the building I normally work in as part of the process. I have booked AL for the day but haven't told my current boss/LM about my interview and now I am slightly nervous about being seen. Probably overthinking, I am admin and have never told my bosses about interviews etc until I have been offered the job. Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes you definitely should have told your manager, and yes take the tour etc.

Honestly, it'll be worse if you're seen / they hear about it via office gossip. You really should give them a heads up, your manager will hate to be the last to know.
