For my current job I had 2 informal chats, then an interview, then a presentation to prepare, then a client interview, then another informal meeting and a chat with another director for final sign off. Lots of informal elements but three formal parts I had to prepare properly for. With a lot being done remotely now I think it’s tempting for companies to add in additional ‘chats’ for extra stakeholders at interview as it’s easier to schedule.

I'M in UK and had a very interesting interview process with US based company - they had 5 stages of interviews! I only passed 3 though! My current one (best job I've ever had) has had 3 stages - 2 interviews and assesment im between. I think long gone are the days of single interviews 🥵

@IceCreamTime19 oh very interesting ! It's a US firm I'm applying for. Hopefully it's not the same place lol

Best of luck to you! The US job I applied for was later moved to India. I imagine they realised they can find someone for a cheaper salary over there, so I'd be careful with American firms now haha the one I applied was a software company called Elastic 🙃

Thanks for letting For letting me know. I was panicking a little but it's not the same company.
