Appraisal time

First time doing an appraisal at this company and I have to provide an example/evidence on “Teamwork” and “Working With Others” in the competencies section - are these not the same thing?!?!

I would say these 2 areas are my strengths so want to do them correctly Grin but can’t fathom the difference between them!

I'd take that as working with others could be more one on one (collaboration on a report, personalised training, supporting a different team on something), whereas I'd take teamwork more literally as in working with a team/group of people to deliver something, support something etc.

I would interpret this as:

“Teamwork” is working within your team to reach a team target/goal

“Working With Others” would be working outside of your team and within other areas of the business.

Might be better to think of working with others more of 'collaboration'.
Working together but not on the same team.

Thanks all - I see what you mean! It’s a very small company but I realise now we are in smaller teams (that overlap quite a lot 😅)
