I have a job interview on Tuesday. Thing is the advert said they needed someone with experience of microsoft products including work, outlook and excell. I know word like the back of my hand and use outlook all the time....but I've never used excell . I've just had a quick look at it and it seems to be a spreadsheet kind of thing...what should I do? own up and say I've never used it but I'm a quick learner or try to learn how to use it by tuesday?

Can you at least run through the online tutorials for the basics. Formatting is similar to Word, formula simple once you get used to the system. It is really quite straightforward to set up a spreadsheet, even if you could only say you had a slight knowledge but were willing to learn it at a more advanced level (as a database, grapsh etc) relevant to the role.
