CS SEO case study tips

I have another up coming assessment for SEO having sat this board twice (I've been an HEO for 10 years) both times at feedback I've been told, I've failed the case study but had a decent interview.
I really seem to struggle with the case study and have no idea where I'm going wrong, has anyone got any hints and tips for the CS case studies?
Both case studies have been read the info and then present your recommendations.

Did you get any specific feedback as to why you didn't do well on the case study? That will be the best way.

What kind of job was it and for what department?

What was the case study testing? Was it an experience or technical/skills test or for one of the behaviours?

One thing that helped me was breaking down the information and making a checklist of things to include in my recommendations. Also, try to keep it simple and straightforward – don't overcomplicate things. Another tip is to practice with sample case studies online. That way, you can get a better feel for the process.
