tempted to apply for a job, but...

...I'm 5 weeks pregnant which seems like a c* time to be changing jobs (I'd keep my maternity rights though). The job would save me 1 1/2 hours travelling each day (because its practically next door to where i live), but I'd have to work some weekends. I think it'd be an enjoyable job, not specifically my 'dream' job, but definitely my dream location, and not that many jobs come up locally. Also I've made a committment to a work project in the new year, and agreed to have a trainee who might not be able to find another mentor, I'd feel bad about letting people down. Really can't decide whether to apply or not, normally I'm much more decisive!

Just because you apply for a job, doesn't mean you would have to accept it if it were offered to you. Apply, find out more if you can, and then you have plenty of time to make the decision if / when they make you an offer. But have to say that the idea of saving all that time travelling would be lovely if you plan to go back after you have had your baby. HTH.
