So, if you one was on long-term SSP for 28weeks & went back to work & then is ill again after 2.5 months will the SSP start again?

NOTE- 26 weeks of SSP was with firm A & firm transferred employee to firm B where the remaining 2 weeks of SSP were paid.

I believe it will start again providing there’s a break of at least 8 weeks. If I remember rightly, this can go on for a maximum of 3 years.
