When it says "please apply in writing with CV".

Does that mean the letter needs to be handwriiten or can it be word processed?

I would assume that it means word processed these days.

I think that they mean you are to write your own application rather than it being a standard form.

If in doubt just call the organisation and ask!

It means word processed letter you have written yourself rather than just a cv or application form. Not handwritten.

Just do a few sentences saying you would like to be considered for the post, say a couple of things that you think make you ideally suited and say you would be happy to answer any further questions they may have.

It means that you should write to them (preferably word processed) rather than phone them.

Good luck
