Nhs HR advise request

Hi guys, is anyone here from NHS HR who can advise me on flexible working? Basically I started working for nhs 2 months ago and I requested to work few days from home due to provide pick and drop to my child but I been told from my manager that he can’t do anything and this is something trust decides.

Now I got no clue how to apply to trust as I’m fairly new to the system and really struggling with working times

Could anyone from nhs can advise please…

Not NHS but public sector, I assume you have an HR intranet, search for flexible working and there should be a form (and a process) to request flexible working. Alternatively use the standard statutory request form www.gov.uk/government/publications/the-right-to-request-flexible-working-form

Complete the form and send to your manager and cc HR. It is important you fill in the sections about impact on the business and colleagues, and how your request can be accommodated.
