Demotivated at work

I've been at my current job over 10 years. It's a good company to work for - relaxed atmosphere, various benefits, nice people, always been kept busy.

I got a promotion a few years ago doing something a bit different to my usual job and enjoyed my new role. I've always had good feedback from everyone and they all seem to really appreciate me.

This year I feel like I have had something of a demotion. It was a result of them wanting to broaden my role to incorporate other things but it was things that I didn't feel comfortable dealing with (I don't have a head for figures). So eventually it was decided that a new role would be created for someone else to do my work plus the extra stuff and I could do other things. So I'm basically back to doing what I was doing previously and although some of it is fine I've had other things added (inc arranging the training for the entire large dept which is a huge pain in the arse) and I'm not enjoying it, feeling easily distracted and fed up. I had forgotten how long this all takes, all the back and forth between companies and our employees, dates not working out, massive faff basically also managers wanting things done different ways and it's just getting on my nerves.

I keep feeling like I should work elsewhere but also the company is a good one and I would hate to leave and end up somewhere I hated.

I do admin, I don't have a degree so options are limited. I had a quick look at other jobs in my area and there was nothing that pays as well (not that the pay is amazing to start with). DH has a good job and I'd had a thought about retraining for something else but again feel like options are limited due to my lack of degree and age.

Not really sure what to do but just wanted to vent, thanks to anyone for listening.
