NHS Jobs Application Form

I'm currently filling out the Employment History section in an application on NHS Jobs - this is my first application on there and want to double check a few things so I don't make any stupid mistakes 🙈

Under "Type of Business", does this mean the type of work/sector my current employer is or does it mean things such as partnerships, corporations, limited liability companies etc that comes up when you Google it?

And under "Employer Address", do I put the address at which the business is registered or the address of the office I work at (these are in different towns)?

Thanks in advance!

Type of business is the sector of work and the address would be the office you work at. Make sure you go through and say how you meet each of the criteria and don't think that anything is implied! E.g. If it says using telephone and MS Word, don't just put have worked in an office on reception, make sure you clearly state using MS Word and answering the phone!

Also, my current employment is very weird in the sense that I am employed by Company A but work for Company B (they are owned/managed by the same people but are completely different sectors - the owner describes them as sister companies but I'm not sure how accurate this is). I assume I have to put Company A down as my employer as that is the company that I have a contract with and pays me etc (I know it's dodgy hence why I want to get a new job ASAP). But my actual job role doesn't make sense in the context of Company A and has nothing to do with the type of business Company A is.

Is it worth putting "Company A/Company B" in the Employer Name section or should I put one of them down?

Thank you! That's what I thought but I was paranoid about getting it completely wrong

I'd put the company you actually do the work for, but the company who employ you in brackets, but either way would probably work, you can always explain at interview if they ask

Thanks
