Just signed up, wondering if they're worth it?

If you have the time then it's a nice little pocket money earner.

If you're in need of a decent amount of cash then I'd try something else as it's quite time-consuming and you don't get an awful lot for it.

Prolific is pretty good.

moonlight1705 · 25/06/2022 18:47

In the last month I've earned around £80 from doing prolific in the evenings after work. I guess I could make more if I was at it a few hours a day.

MrsMigginsCat · 25/06/2022 18:55

Prolific is the best I've found. I've currently got £170 sitting in there. I don't do it everyday, but if I have a good day I can earn in the region of £7/£8. I also do Opinium surveys and am saving up to £100, currently just under £70. I can usually earn a couple of quid a day from them.

Same as PPs have said, Prolific is great. It's the only one I've found worth it. I'm making nearly £100 a month whilst I'm on maternity leave!

Not done paid surveys, but I do Shoppix and that's been earning me about £80 a year of Amazon vouchers just from scanning in receipts. I basically scan any receipt I can get my hands on.

AnuSTart · 26/06/2022 08:21

I generally make a fiver a day on prolific for what's a few mins of clicking.
Definitely worth it!

MumofoneASD · 26/06/2022 08:43

Does anyone have a Shoppix referral code please?

pinkyponkyplink · 27/06/2022 01:37

Is prolific an app? I can only find a shopping app called prolific.

How does swag bucks work??

PAFMO · 27/06/2022 06:08

app.prolific.co/register/participant

Looks like they have a waitlist for now, but worth getting on it. It looks completely different on my phone (I use the desktop usually) but that's it in the link.

Lavendersquare · 27/06/2022 10:39

You don't need a referral code for Shoppix just down the app.

I zap any and every receipt I can get my hands on, mine, family and miscellaneous ones I find left in trolleys (Aldi is great for this). The points soon mount up and can be swapped for Amazon vouchers.

Another vote for Prolific. Mainly -

  1. you are pre screened for all surveys available (subject to having the correct device). I used to hate ones like Swagbucks where you spend 5 mins doing qualifying q's only to get "thanks but no thanks, here's another we've found for you" only to repeat the cycle. No time wasted.

  2. many of them are very interesting and from academics from all over the world doing research for their work. Much better than 20 questions about your shopping habits.

On a good week I can do £10-£15 easily and it's paid by PayPal.

My dad and I both do this ... he's a real pro though and a proper womble looking for receipts when he's out and about Grin

Shoppix also take e receipts too

Signed up for Prolific after seeing this thread and I've earned £140 in 8 weeks.
They are often quite challenging and interesting and rarely involve shopping or tv.
