Heatwave and work place have heating on?

My workplace have a faulty boiler which means the heating and radiators are constantly on! During a heatwave it is still on and locking up means all windows and doors are locked. Is this legal and wrong?

Does locking up mean everyone is finished and off home? If so, just wasteful but not the worst thing. If people are in there in a heatwave with heating on, I would say that's a massive health and safety risk.

So we work after staff have gone up so they lock their windows etc and we work afterwards for over two hours and the heating is on

I think you need to speak to someone senior about this as it doesn't sound right.
