Hi I started a new part time job in retail in march and the last month a new manager has started. After she started she hired a new supervisor who she is friends with/has worked with before. They are pally with each other and when I’m working I’m only working with the 2 of them. They are supposed to help in the store, do delivery, serve customers etc as other previous managers have done there. They usually get stuck in. However, they don’t speak to me at all, never help with delivery and leave me on my own for extended periods. It’s making me really hate my job and I’m not in for 4 days now and I already feel anxious about going in. The manager has also reduced my hours to 4 (which is my contract but upon getting the job I was told I would always don more than that). I’m on universal credit if I leave because I’m only doing 4 hrs will I be sanctioned? It’s really effecting my mental health.
