I am thinking of applying to work at Sensee. What are the hours/pay like, and do you work full or part time.

Bumping this as also considering

Ebonyhorse · 19/06/2022 19:36

Anything on glassdoor?

disneylover367 · 19/06/2022 19:44

I got offered a job with them and although I didn't take it up I was impressed with the woman that interviewed me. I seem to remember you could choose either part or full time. There was a system where you chose your shifts to a certain extent, maybe on an app. I think?

disneylover367 · 19/06/2022 19:45

Pay was minimum wage for the role I was offered.

Oldlearner · 19/06/2022 19:49

@disneylover367 did you get as far to see how the shifts picking worked?
I have lots of customer service experience but wary of applying. I'm keen on back to contact centre but from home but now I kid so want to do it around them/DH

disneylover367 · 19/06/2022 19:53

No I didn't get that far, I remember the shifts were released in advance and my plan had been to work 25 hours per week which they were fine with. You could always to do the test online and have the zoom interview. From doing the test to being offered a position took less than a week.

Oldlearner · 19/06/2022 20:23

Can you remember much about what was asked in the interview?

I'd need to buy a new computer, only have an 8year old laptop but don't want to pay to set up a full home office for nothing so trying to get as much info as possible

disneylover367 · 19/06/2022 20:39

I was asked what I knew about the company, what qualities I thought were important for the role, usual interview questions. There was a role play which was pretty straight forward, I was given a few minutes to read through and prepare. I had to show the room I would be working from, it had to be a spare room with a proper desk and computer chair, you couldn't work in a living room etc unless you had space for the set up. They were big on not being distracted/disturbed.

They offer a lot of help to get the monitor and correct equipment, my chair wasn't good enough and they said I could get one as soon as I could and they would check it.

Oldlearner · 19/06/2022 21:29

Oh they insist on a spare room? I was planning on setting up a office in my bedroom. This might be a problem

dawngreen · 19/06/2022 22:10

I have a NVQ in customer service, but I don't have any experience working in a call center.

disneylover367 · 19/06/2022 22:38

@Oldlearner I think if you had space in your bedroom that would be ok, definitely worth checking

disneylover367 · 19/06/2022 22:39

@dawngreen I didn't have call centre experience that wasn't a problem.

Oldlearner · 20/06/2022 09:27

I don't have a nvq but I have almost 10years experience. It's been a few years since I worked in a call center since my DD c was born so my confidence has taken a knock.

I might start a new thread to see if anyone works there now to get an idea of what the shifts are like. I need to know how difficult it would be book shifts around my dh.

Oldlearner · 21/06/2022 14:42

@dawngreen have you applied?

dawngreen · 21/06/2022 14:52

I am just sorting out my office at the moment, its become a bit of a dumping ground. Then I will apply and see how things go.

OP posts:
Oldlearner · 22/06/2022 08:49

Good luck. If you have time can you pop back and let me know how it goes.

I'm considering emailing them (if I can find the address) to ask a few questions before I consider spending on a home office

dawngreen · 22/06/2022 10:56

When I apply I will pop back here later @oldlearner.

LampsAndWatches · 18/05/2023 16:44

Just wondered if there were any updates for this thread as I’m in the middle of an application.

dawngreen · 18/05/2023 19:46

I did not apply at the time due to bad health.
