I'm looking to change career from general commercial law to in house data protection. I have a decent working understanding of UK GDR et al, but I feel I need to hone my skills a bit before touting my wares as a DP specialist. One thought I had was to do a DPO course, but looking online these seem to be pretty expensive and I'm not sure of the value of them.
Is there a particular certification/qualification I should be looking for? I'm old so no-one is going to hire me as a junior to learn on the job.
Thank you!
