Hi, I am considering applying for a new job in a different health board and we are trying for our second baby. I’ve worked in
the NHS for 11 years and wasn’t sure if I was to more health board and got pregnant soon would this affect my mat leave pay? If anyone has any experience of doing this! Thanks xx

For SMP I always advise to wait a month, so you are definitely employed on the date of your last period because this is the key date.

If you are talking about OMP then talk to HR. I know in the Civil Service it is treated as one employer not sure about NHS, hopefully someone can advise.
